The Peer Liaisons affiliated with the Office of LGBTQ Resources are juniors and seniors who personally understand many issues and challenges first-year students with LGBTQ identities face. First-years interested in learning more about LGBTQ life at Yale, questioning or struggling with issues of their own LGBTQ identities or the LGBTQ identities of friends, family members, or roommates, or who simply want to learn more about what being LGBTQ means can request an LGBTQ Peer Liaison. All interactions with Peer Liaisons are bound by the strictest codes of privacy and confidentiality.
Spectrum Fellows provide a range of mentoring and programming resources for all of Yale’s LGBTQ undergraduate community. Find out more at here.
The LGBTQ Student Cooperative (fondly known as the Co-op) is Yale’s all-inclusive umbrella student organization focused on LGBTQ and allied activism. The Co-op works to foster a sense of community among all LGBTQ-identified people on campus, serving a social function by bringing students together and providing safe spaces while serving a political function as part of a greater social justice movement on and off campus. The Co-op provides funding and support for other queer undergraduate organizations, and also offers LGBTQ programming for the Yale and New Haven communities throughout the year.
Join the Co-Op mailing list to be kept up to date on undergraduate LGBTQ events and activities.
