As we grieve: Resources available to you and others in our communities

As our communities grieve the tragic events in Orlando this past weekend, please remember that you are not alone—there are a number of resources available to you. Please take advantage and share information with others who may be in need.

We will hold open hours at the Office of LGBTQ Resources (124 Swing Space/Baker Hall, 40A Ashmun St) from 1-3:30pm today, Monday 6/13, and from 10am-3pm Tuesday through Thursday of this week—please drop by if you would like to talk or just be with others, or give us a call at 203-432-0309.
 
Yale Mental Health and Counseling is available to students on and away from campus Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm at 203-432-0290 and after hours via Acute Care at 203-432-0123.
 
LGBTQ+ Youth Kickback will host a gathering Monday 6/13 at 4pm, Speak Out for Safety, Rally for Hope, at the Amistad Memorial (165 Church St). You can find more details at the facebook event.
 
There will be an LGBTQ led interfaith vigil for the victims of the mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Monday 6/13 At 6pm immediately after the Speak Out for Safety Rally, at the United Church on the Green (270 Temple St). You can find more details at the facebook event.
