Mpowerment @ APNH

MPowerment is a national community building and HIV prevention project for gay, bi and queer men between the ages of 18-29. At MPowerment New Haven, we plan gay/queer events for people to meet, network, and socialize in spaces that are creative, safe, and fun. Our Core group of volunteers meets on Monday nights at 6:30 to plan these events and discuss community needs. Our MPowerment program is housed by APNH: A Place to Nourish your Health, and strives to bring people together from all over the Greater New Haven area.

Beyond the Binary: Trans + Nonbinary conversation and community

Beyond the Binary is a safe space for conversations and community-building for Yale community members who are transgender, agender, dualgender, genderqueer, gender questioning, nonbinary or otherwise hosted weekly at the Office of LGBTQ Resources. Sign up for the BtB mailing list (link below) to find out about discussion topics, activities and special events, and contact Seth Wallace with any questions!

LGBTQ Affinity Trans-Specific Issues Committee

This LGBTQ Affinity Group committee influences university policies and climate issues that particularly affect transgender staff, faculty, and postdocs at Yale. We focus on trans healthcare and other topics as prioritized by our members.

Please join us the second Tuesday of each month at the Office of LGBTQ Resources and help shape our work! We’re open to all Yale staff, faculty, and postdocs with an interest in improving the climate for trans folks.
