Afro-American Cultural Center

Established in 1969, the Afro-American Cultural Center (“the House”) has a rich history of serving as Yale’s home away from home for its Black student body and all campus and local community constituents who wish to learn about and celebrate the cultures and traditions of the African Diaspora.

The House facilitates its community members’ success in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and advocacy through advising, empowerment cultural enrichment, educational programming, social development, and career preparation.

Office of International Students & Scholars

Over 6000 international students and scholars from more than 120 countries call Yale University their home away from home. You come from Albania and Zimbabwe and many places in between and you are making untold contributions to this university. The OISS is here to help and support you throughout your Yale experience and beyond, be it a question about your immigration status or your transition to this new culture and community.

Native American Cultural Center

The NACC strives to maintain a permanent and prominent Indigenous presence at Yale that incorporates and supports the success of future Native leaders through recruitment, encouragement, mentoring, service, and the fostering of a community that makes Yale the most sought after Ivy Institution for Indigenous achievement, research and solidarity.
