Mpowerment @ APNH

MPowerment is a national community building and HIV prevention project for gay, bi and queer men between the ages of 18-29. At MPowerment New Haven, we plan gay/queer events for people to meet, network, and socialize in spaces that are creative, safe, and fun. Our Core group of volunteers meets on Monday nights at 6:30 to plan these events and discuss community needs. Our MPowerment program is housed by APNH: A Place to Nourish your Health, and strives to bring people together from all over the Greater New Haven area.

Broad Recognition Magazine

Broad Recognition is Yale College’s first and only feminist publication. We are a radically progressive collective of friends, writers, and thinkers dedicated to understanding the way power impacts our communities. We seek to use our writing as a platform for understanding the world around us with the hopes of ultimately overturning the status quo. We dream of a world centered around communities of love instead of economies of capital.

Point Foundation Scholarship

Point Foundation (Point) is the nation’s largest higher education scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) students. Point’s multifaceted support of its scholarship recipients (“scholars”) extends far beyond direct financial contribution toward the cost of their education. Each scholar is paired with a mentor and participates in leadership development programs and events.
