Stonewall Library Book Talk

The Yale LGBTQ Center, home to the Stonewall Library, in collaboration with the Asian American Cultural Center, is pleased to host a virtual book talk with Bora Chung, acclaimed South Korean author, literary translator, and Yale GSAS alumna.

Best known for her genre-blending work in speculative fiction and horror, Bora Chung will reflect on her creative journey and discuss the political and social themes that shape her writing. As part of this Stonewall Library book talk, the conversation will explore how literature—particularly speculative and horror fiction—can illuminate questions of power, fear, identity, and resistance. The event will conclude with a live Q&A, offering attendees the opportunity to engage directly with her work and ideas.

Community members are invited to gather in person at the Yale LGBTQ Center, where the conversation will be streamed in a webinar format. Light refreshments will be provided. A webinar link will also be available for RSVP’d attendees who wish to join remotely.

In-person attendees will be eligible to enter a raffle to win one of Bora Chung’s bestselling books.
