The QPOCCoalition@Yale is an organization for graduate students, staff, and faculty that seeks to create safe spaces and opportunities for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) people of color (Blacks, Latinos, Asians, and Indigenous people) to build a vibrant community. We invite thoughtful dialogues and discussions on many social issues, especially those that pertain to the intersections of race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality.
Wondering about the relationship between your LGBTQ+ identity and your spiritual identity? Come join us at Ichthys, a confidential group for LGBTQ+ and questioning Christians, where we explore our complicated feelings about faith, sexuality, and gender identity. We have discussions, occasional bible readings, and generally support members in their individual journeys! Ichthys is open to students of all denominational backgrounds and those exploring faith for the first time!
ActOUT strives to create, foster, and strengthen bonds between LGBTQIA+ students and faculty within Yale School of Drama and to support theater that speaks to queer identity and issues. Through engagement with historical and contemporary queer theater practice and practitioners, ActOUT advocates for the visibility of queer students, faculty, art, and artists.
