The Office of LGBTQ Resources highly values diversity, social justice, and cultural competencies in our student leaders.  All our staff, graduate assistants, student assistants, peer liaisons, and organizational leaders share a common goal in developing accessible, equitable, and inclusive spaces for the entire Yale community who come from different backgrounds, understandings, and life experiences.

Graduate Assistants

The Office of LGBTQ Resources hosts a number of specialized Graduate Assistant (GA) positions responsible for managing programs and working with student assistants, peer liaisons, student leaders, and affiliated organizations in the area of student development.

Student Assistants

The Office of LGBTQ Resources hosts a number of Student Assistant (SA) positions.  Under the direction of the professional staff and graduate assistants, student assistants assist in staffing the center, the planning and organizing of signature events, facilitating groups, and serving as touchstones for resources and referrals.

Peer Liaisons

The Office of LGBTQ Resources hosts a number of Peer Liaisons (PL) positions.  The Peer Liaison Program was created to provide an additional layer of mentoring through a wealth of events and initiatives that aim to support first-year students through their transition to Yale College, especially those who belong to systematically minoritized groups like the LGBTQ community.
