Do you identify as LGBTQ and BIPOC? If so, this event is for you, a virtual town hall to build community with one another. The purpose of this meeting is to share your perspectives, experiences, challenges, and concerns. We hope to form a mission and regular gathering place.
This invite goes out to all Yale staff, faculty, and postdocs. To ensure privacy and safety, we respectufully ask that this space be reserved for those who self-identify as QBIPOC.
Guerrilla Queer Bar happens in places all over the country, and our lovely little state is no exception. Once a month, GQB takes over a random bar in CT and bring all the queers we can find! GQB is about creating a new space for our community. Maybe these bars have a few queers here and there, but when there’s 50 of us, we’re undeniably taking over the space and defining it as ours. It’s about making a majority. It’s about meeting new people and forming radical connections.
An email list for members of the Yale LGBTQ Affinity group who are up for spontaneous social gatherings. Bar outings, movie nights, runs to East Rock, pick-up soccer, you email it, we’re there…depending on our social calendars, obviously.
