SHARE is available to undergraduate, graduate and professional school students at Yale who are dealing with sexual misconduct of any kind. Students turn to us with a variety of concerns, large and small, and we assist in whatever way we can. Sometimes we have a one-time phone consultation. More often, that first phone call leads to meeting in person, exploring options for response, and working to make sure that the caller gets whatever ongoing assistance she or he needs.
Yale strives to be a community free of sexual misconduct, by promoting the essential values of respect and responsibility, providing education, and working with students, faculty, and staff — a community that is safe and supportive for all. Yale takes all complaints and accusations of sexual misconduct seriously.
Walden Peer Counseling is an anonymous and confidential hotline and walk-in peer counseling service staffed by Yale undergraduates. The hotline operates from 8pm to 8am every night, and the office is open for walk-ins from 8pm to 1am every night during the regular academic schedule and when classes are in session. The number for the hotline is (203) 432-TALK (432-8255), and the office is located on Old Campus in the basement of Welch, Entryway B, room A-05. We are available to talk about anything that’s on your mind.
